Rachelle is such a homemaker. She cans. She spent Saturday doing peaches, pears, and tomatoes. I don't know why it's hard for me to picture her as a canning person.
We love fall mornings. Rachelle walks the kids to school every day and Leah said "I love fall mornings because they smell like sausage". Huh? Anyway, Meg loves the morning walks in the stroller too. On weekends she doesn't get that there's no school, so she gets her shoes, and insists on her walk.
Brita started her theater class at the library. They're doing a show called "The Wonderfully Wicked Wizard of Oz". Brita has been singing Wizard of Oz songs all week. But what we listen to even more is the music for the Primary program at church because they have been challenged to listen to it about 7 times/day. I'm really starting to hate those songs.
Our built-in office is finished. Now we can get rid of the card table computer setup in the front room, but only if we get a new computer with wireless internet. So I'm almost committed to buying the Apple, but can't seem to pull the trigger. The other project I need to complete is getting some hardware to make the drawers into file cabinets. Where do you buy something like that? The office looks awesome.

Jared-
I have been using a PC forever and love it! However, when I wrote for and received my technology grant, I was able to use a mac for the first time. At first, it was like learning learning a second language when I used it. But let me tell you now that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Mac! It is an investment but you'll be shocked at how easy things are to do, especially as far a pictures, movies etc go! Even my husband is sold on the plan that our next computer will be a mac. Come check it out if you want!
Go cougars!
The thought of Rachelle canning is kind of funny to me, too. But why?
I want to see pics of the office! Did you guys go with the idea to do it in that open part of the kitchen?
