But before we get to that, she also helps my dad anytime he's outside washing one of the cars - a few days ago he was washing mine. He's so awesome like that. He just came inside and asked for my keys and I immediately knew what he was doing. I don't even act like I feel guilty when he does that. Instead, I just appreciate it like mad.
And besides, it's not like he's doing it along. He's got his little helper.
While dad and Meg were washing the car, mom was pulling up dead plants from the flower beds and cleaning them up.
Most people put on their grubbies to work out in the garden, but not my mom. If it weren't for the bag overflowing with dead bushes, I'd think she was heading off to an afternoon tea.
When Meg and dad were done washing the car, she helped "hang up the hose."
Then things got hilarious when she tried to spray me with some water.
Nothing is quite as funny or as rewarding as getting your mom wet I guess.
Next, Meg posed next to some little pumpkins she had decorated.
And then she put the most beautiful flower she could find in just the right spot above her ear.
I love that little girl. And I love watching that little girl help her grandpa and take after her granny in loving the outdoors.
