I learned today that...
- pen ink is easier to remove from household surfaces than lipstick
- crayon is easier to remove than pen ink
- pencil is easier to remove than crayon
In addition...
The above mentioned mediums are much easier to remove from smooth doors than from textured walls.
However, dressers are the hardest of all to clean when smeared with a combination of pen ink, pencil, and lipstick.
Regardless of the level of difficulty, most of our doors, walls, baseboards, and dressers are now ink-, led- and lipstick-free.
All thanks to this little friend...
NO THANKS to this one...
This is the point where I put my foot down. Today I draw the line.
No more pens. No more crayons. No more textured walls. From now on, Meg is limited to pencils and smooth doors. And that's final.

My new best friend is Mr Clean Erasers. Jaxson spent about 45 minutes cleaning all of the pen, pencil and marker off of his bedroom walls a few nights ago. And it came right off!
Kids can be so hard! Loved this post! Are you parents still in town? When do you want to go out? :)
Love the cute, innocent face Meg is posing! Ugh! what a headache!
I totally second the Mr. Clean Erasers! I love Barkeepers Friends, but never thought to try it anywhere other than my kitchen! I have lots of lipsticky things to work on...aren't kids just the best? (wink, wink)
