Traditional Post
I know it's a post I do every year, but traditions must be recorded and the first day of school pictures and candy bar posters must not be lost! Brita and Leah started two days ago and Meg had her very first day today. For now the pictures show how they've grown since last year and they might even capture a jittery feeling or two that went along with the first day. I asked them if they wanted to put their arms around each other and without hesitation they both gave the same answer. Maybe next year we will love each other? A mother will always hope. Pictures now, details later.

The first day of school may be my favorite holiday :> I am not even showing my kids your awesome candy posters. They might think that's a tradition our family needs. All 3 in school--is it heaven?
What beautiful girls. I love the picture of Meg -- what a cunning look! And I love the posters -- you inspired us to do one for one of our Tae Kwon Do instructors, so thanks! :)
