Father's Day Goodies

I am in the Relief Society presidency in our ward, and I got the assignment to make something for all the men in the ward for Father's Day. So I whipped up a quick little poem:

If you're a dad, a grandpa, a friend, or a brother

You've surely been blessed with gifts like no other.

Those gifts might be to impart blissful advice

or NUGGETS of widsom that are always nice.

Whatever your gift, just know you're adored

By the women and children of the

Grandview 10th Ward.

Then my helpers and I stuffed bags full of Hershey's "bliss" and "nugget" miniature candies and tied them up with a little bow.

It was a lot of work and I have no idea if the receivers are even going to like this little gift. But I'm glad I had something constructive to keep little hands busy this week and it got us all thinking about our dads and the men in our lives and why we appreciate them.
