Not Making Fun, Just Easily Amused

Jared thinks I make fun of him on the blog. I don't look at it that way. I'm just sharing one of my favorite things about him...he makes me laugh.

Which is why I can share this little tidbit...

Last night I made a quick stop in the laundry room before flopping onto the bed and it's a good thing I did. I saw our bath towels folded nicely on the counter and remembered to put them on the towel bar in our bathroom.

This is important to Jared, not so much to me. I always check to make sure my bath towel is in the bathroom before I jump in the shower. In fact, I even go so far as to remove my towel from the towel bar and drape it over the shower wall, for the sole purpose of making sure it's there. Jared doesn't do that.

I only know this because last week when I reached for my towel to make the exciting towel transfer (pre-shower), my towel wasn't there and neither was Jared's and I knew he had already showered. I poked my head outside the door and asked Jared what he had used to dry himself off. Apparently he found my bathrobe a poor substitute for a bath towel and rather than disturbing me from my sleep just outside the door to fetch him a real towel, he settled on drying all six feet, six inches of himself with the hand towel. Then he carefully draped the dripping hand towel back through the ring next to the sink for future hand-drying use.

I've been laughing about this for days now. What can I say...I'm easily amused.
