I'm not a normal breakfast food eater. I'm not fond of cold cereal and I'm in too much of a hurry to make anything. So I usually just see if there's anything good in the fridge. We had some leftover vanilla pudding this week, so I dumped it on leftover pancakes (from dinner because they're way too much work to make for breakfast) and put banana slices on top. The kids were amused with my creation. Leah said "What a funny man we have in this house".
This weekend was a bust as we took a break from our "Stuff we always wanted to do in Texas" tour. The weather was bad so I entertained Brita and Leah by playing hours of Mario Galaxy. It's better than watching a movie for them because they can shout instructions and criticism. After rescuing the princess at last, I insisted that we do something active. We played tennis in the park, and Brita showed some improvement. I can't wait for the day they can give me a real game.
Meg is starting to take steps on her own finally. She acts like she just climbed Everest whenever she goes 2 or 3 steps without falling down. She looks around to see if anybody noticed and claps. She has added pulling dishes from the dishwasher to her chores.
I'll forgo the angry political rant this week. I'm in a good mood with the NCAA tournament coming up. BYU should at least beat Texas A&M this year, but even if they don't it's the best sporting event of the year. If only I could get live TV in my office.

But I love the angry political rant! Come back, Jared!
Oh c'mon, even Obama did a bracket! :P
I like Jared updates with a little something about each girl.
