Something for Everyone

So Europe, we discovered, has something for everyone regardless of age. There is fun to be had down every street, around every corner, and in sought after nooks and crannies.

Fun for Jared and me included, but was not limited to...

Touring cathedrals like this one in Sevilla, Spain where we could have
spent all day in the sweet-smelling-orange-grove courtyard

Walking tours of charming cities like this one in Sintra, Portugal

Tours of palaces and castles like this one in Sintra, Portugal

Touring cities with different flavors like this one in Tangier, Morocco

Taking a tour by "The Night Watchman" in this cool city...

Rothenburg, Germany where we learned cool things about man doors
and unusual sanitary conditions that once existed in this little town

Touring museums like the Musee d'Orsay in Paris, France

I suppose the key word in this segment is "tours." The girls did their best to create their own fun while Jared and I were getting our fill, but for them enjoyment was best found in places where they could do stuff like this...

See what I'm talking about?

Sure glad we took the girls to Europe so they could experience the culture and history of the airport luggage carts. Apparently luggage carts have an appeal equal to that of European tours. Who knew?

Brita informed me that if she had to do one more tour of any sort she could very well pass away. Good thing the airport was handy enough to mix in between tours. Something for everyone, indeed!

What an opportunity!!! I would be freaking out thinking about being stranded and not knowing when I would have seen my baby, ...but you did sooooo well. Awesome that all worked out so well. Oh the blessings. You are clearly loving your life and it's good to hear!

I wasn't jealous at all, because I figured you were visiting your brother in Belgium and that was the extent of it. But SINTRA?!?!?! SINTRA?!?!?! One of my ALL-TIME favorite cities in the entire world. I love, love, love Sintra. So, now I'm jealous. :P

What an impressive, aggressive travel agenda with the Moon family in Europe! I can't wait to go through each picture in your home....without the delivery of a flu bug.

So glad you guys could do this. Great memories. xoxJody
