Leah has been trying to catch up on some late homework assignments over the Christmas break. Apparently she got overwhelmed with a project and just stopped doing the assignments which, I might add, is exactly what I do when I get overwhelmed. So lucky for her, I've been pretty sympathetic about the whole thing, except for the few times when my patience ran out.
It's been a fun past few days as she's worked hard to get caught up. Tonight, I caught a glimpse of why she might have been stumped a time or two while attempting her research. She was doing a search on google for "I'm a kid that needs help with a Mississippi population graph." When her detailed searches didn't result in many viable results, she eventually found me and we sat down and figured it out together. I can't wait to find out what grade "we" get on the project.
