She Loves Her Granny

I have no words for how much I love this picture, no matter how blurry and out of focus it might be.

It warms my heart to see my littlest and my mom love each other so much. In this car ride, Meg just couldn't stand to be that close to her granny and not hold her hand. She didn't stop talking to my mom the entire car ride and my mom, as you can see, was smitten.

Meg has no idea how having her grandparents as part of her {nearly} everyday life makes her life so rich. Some day she will know. I don't know what day that will be, but I am sure that someday she will cherish her memories of this special lady and remember that she is always loved.

My heart fills up with gratitude when I realize how blessed we are because of relationships. And I love seeing my kids, even at young and tender ages, work at building strong relationships with people they love.

The beauty of it all is that this little one doesn't even know she's working at a relationship. She's just doing what comes naturally - loving and connecting with someone who cares.
