Getting Back to Nature

It's been good to get back into nature and we're happy that the girls are getting back into hiking shape. Even Meg doesn't require the backpack as much anymore and she loves hiking just as much, if not more than, the older girls. She's at the age where pleasures come easily.

Some of our recent hikes...

Hiking beyond the "Y" last month when my brother and his family were here

A waterfall somewhere in Pleasant Grove...I've lived here most of my life and had no idea this place even existed. Buddy couldn't wait to try out the waterfall and he didn't care who he splashed on his way out.

Hobble Creek Canyon. The leaves are changing and it was beautiful. Leah's shirt...don't even ask.

For views like this you've gotta do some serious climbing. Squaw Peak. Jared and I ventured out when the older girls were in school. He hiked this freakin' mountain with a kid on his back.

Oh, how we love our beautiful Utah!
