I've had several conversations this week about what a non-holiday Father's Day actually is. None of my friends expected or even seemed to want anything for Father's day. I think it's a retail driven attempt to get another holiday in that most men don't really care about. I'm already several hours into my second straight Father's Day in which my present is that I get to be a father. I got up, fed and changed Meg while I made certain Rachelle got to sleep in. She was very grumpy last week when I didn't make sure that she got to sleep in. But that's OK. I hate sleeping in and I'd rather have a pleasant wife for Father's Day.
By popular demand I will comment on Utah getting into the PAC-10. Good for them. Now I feel no obligation at all to cheer for them like I used to when they played non-league games. I will hope that they lose every game every year. I'm sure their obnoxious fans will be even more so now that they've been invited to leave the ranks of the "unwashed" in college athletics.

Oh, I've been waiting for your true feelings to be posted, Jared. I will think of you cheering for the "other" team each and every time the U plays.
