Gratitude
We are grateful. Sometimes I wonder if my girls know the meaning of that word, so we put them to the test during the month of November. This poster hung on our wall the entire month and they could add a turkey or a leaf anytime they wanted to. I was impressed with their thoughtfulness and I'm relieved to know that they are not taking all of their blessings for granted. This was mostly for the kids, but Jared and I shared a couple of our own blessings so we could join in the fun. Here is a rundown of things we're grateful for this year:

Gratitude. What a great word. I love it when that word graces the walls of our home.

We do a gratitude door/wall every year and it's a fun tradition. We keep a box of crayons nearby and we all (and anyone who visits) can write or draw something for which they're grateful. I love the laminated leaves idea!!
